THE Great British Bake Off Final is in crisis, because the world is going to end before the winner is revealed.... apparently.
A group of Christian fundamentalists say the world is going to end at some point today, and probably tonight.
The eBible Fellowship, a group of fundamentalist Christians, say the world will be permanently destroyed on October 7.
It is not known whether it is due to happen before or after the big final pastry showdown.
Chris McCann, their leader says: “According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that October 7 will be the day that God has spoken of, in which the world will pass away.
“It’ll be gone forever. Annihilated.”
If you’re wondering how it will happen, it will be destroyed by fire.
McCann goes on: “God destroyed the first Earth with water, by a flood, in the days of Noah. And he says he’ll not do that again, not by water. But he does say in 2nd Peter 3 that he’ll destroy it by fire.”
They arrived at October 7 based on an earlier prediction of the world ending on May 21, 2011.
It didn’t end then, obviously, but McCann says God was going to take 1600 days from then to decide which Christians would go to heaven and which would perish on the final annihilation. His 1600 days of deciding end today.
