Wives of the President/VP, Aisha Buhari and Dolapo Osinbajo, today visited her.<br /><br />The Kano State Government has finally reacted in a statement today by the state Commissioner of Information, Malam Mohammed Garba.<br /><a href="https://www.blogger.com/null" name="more"></a>The Government said it was deeply saddened by the news of the rape and it would ensure that whoever is found involved in is sentenced to jail for life. Gov. Ganduje has directed the state Ministry of Justice to prosecute “whoever is involved in this sordid sexual crime.”<br /><div> <br />The statement described the act as despicable, dastardly and condemnable, “which is alien to our religious and cultural values and stressed that the action clearly portrayed the perpetrator brutal, unfeeling and the culprit deserved nothing more than the maximum penalty under the law.<br /><br />The government stated that it would settle the medical bill of the victim and advised parents to monitor the movement of their wards and those they keep company with. Religious leaders have also been urged to use their places of worship to propagate the dangers of such crime and other social vices in the society.</div> </div> </div>

Also the second suspect was going to Saudi Arabia where drug trafficking attracts capital punishment. My involvement in drug trafficking was an afterthought. My intention when I got my visa last year was to go and work to take care of my needs without being a burden to anyone. Everything changed suddenly when I met an old friend at a party. They took care of my travel expenses and gave me three thousand dollars with a promise to assist me secure a job in the United States. It was few hours to my journey that they brought the drugs for me to swallow.
