LOVESTRUCK Pippa McKinney made an online appeal to track down the “single” dream man she kissed on a night out, only to discover he already had a girlfriend.
Pippa was so smitten after meeting “Mr Right” on her birthday night that she persuaded him to pose for photos and took his mobile number.
But after taking down his number wrong the 22-year-old posted the smoochy snaps of them together on Facebook asking for help to find her Prince Charming.
After almost 14,000 likes and 2,000 shares she tracked him down in Wythenshawe, Manchester, but it turned out he already had a girlfriend.
The couple have been named on Facebook.
And now the girlfriend and Pippa have been put in touch with each other and discussed his amorous antics.
Pippa, from Stockport, Gtr Manchester, wrote on Facebook: “Met this guy last night absolutely stunning, took his number down wrong but would love to get to see him again! He’s from Whythenshaw and is called Mat, help anyone haha??”
But after dozens of shares, the man’s girlfriend was tagged in the picture of the snapshot and many soon caught on he wasn’t as single as he made out with pictures on her profile showing they were in a relationship.
The viral snaps have now caused uproar on the social media site with many slamming the man for his antics.
Even Pippa, who met him in AXM club in Manchester city centre, herself wrote: “My God can’t even believe it., knew it would be the case not my fault though as he told me he was single wouldn’t have gone there obviously if I knew he had a girlfriend. Knew I shouldn’t have shared this.”
She later wrote she felt sorry for the his girlfriend as she had “got hurt”.
The pair have apparently spoken since about the viral pictures and have cleared the air.
Pippa wrote on Facebook: “Some right judgey people my god! Thanks massively to the people/friends/family who have stuck up for me. Honestly didn’t expect this to happen and my heart well and truly goes out to [her] who in fact I have spoken to an she’s lovely #girlssticktogether #viralspiral.”
She was asked by friends whether she would give it a go with him even if they had broken up but she replied. “No, he’s a cheat.”
There was a bit of backlash from people asking her to take down the post, but she defended her decision to keep it online.
She wrote: “He shouldn’t be a fool then. Karma’s a ****, and this poor girl wouldn’t have known any different if I hadn’t have posted this and he would have carried on like nothing had happened now that is taking the **** out of someone’s life.”
