Cheat Matty Steven says he's made 'a huge mistake'

THE loverat caught out kissing another girl in a Facebook photo has said he "made a massive mistake".

Pippa McKinney uploaded a photo of her and Matty Steven getting cosy in a nightclub asking if anyone knew the “absolutely stunning” lad she’d met the night before, believing she’d taken his number down wrong.

 Matty was then publicly dumped by his girlfriend-of-one-year Emily after someone tagged her in the damning post.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Matty said: “I hold my hands up. I’ve made a massive mistake. I’ve ruined the best thing that has ever happened to me. Not only have I disrespected Emily, but I’ve disrespected her family and my own.”

The 22-year-old claims it was a “single drunken kiss that obviously meant more to her than it ever did to me” and says he won’t stop fighting to win back ex Emily, who is refusing to speak to him.

He added: “If that girl had any respect for Emily, as soon as Emily found out she should have taken the picture down. But she didn’t and it just shows how much she wanted attention.”

After thousands of views and more than 1,500 comments the picture has now been deleted.

Matty explained: “I gave her a fake number for a reason. I didn’t want to let her down hard, I’m not that type. I wish I did now. The kiss was stupid and I instantly regretted it. After the kiss I went over to my mate and told him, "we are leaving".

“I forgot about it and then in the morning I saw the picture and it all came back to me like a bad dream, which I want to forget.”

The lothario added: “Why would I go out for a hamburger when I’ve got a sirloin steak cooking at home?” before saying he’s speaking out to say he’s sorry and not “for the attention like some people are”.
