A MUM-of-two is suing a police force after allegedly being pinned to the ground and punched in the head while her kids watched on.
The shocking moment Cindy Hahn was held down by police officers in California was captured on smartphone footage.

The video seems to show one police officer holding Cindy down while another male officer punches her in the head.

The mum says her two young kids, an 11 and 7-year-old, screamed as they watched her from the car.

Ironically, Cindy is the daughter of a retired police officer.

She has told US TV station CBS that the incident on an afternoon in July 2013 was “the worst day of my life”.

She claims the incident started because she asked an officer what was going on as he stood in front of a car in the town of Carlsbad with the car’s alarm blaring.

Cindy says: “And he says, ‘Is this your car?’ And I said, ‘No, sir.’ And he says, ‘Then mind your own [expletive] business.’ “

She called police to complain about the officer and then alleges she was later pulled over by the same officer for a seat-belt violation.

Within seconds she says she was pinned to the ground. She alleges that things got more violent when back-up arrived. She says the memory still haunts her.

Cindy added: “I can feel hands on me. It’s the weirdest feeling.”

Cindy is now suing the city of Carlsbad and the police officers involved.
