JIM Carrey and Cathriona White kiss as they celebrate her 30th birthday just days before the split that led to her suicide.
Irish make-up artist Cathriona was found dead of a suspected drug overdose last Monday, five days after a break-up with Carrey.
Less than a week before their two-year on-off relationship ended the pair were snapped during the intimate birthday dinner.
They hugged and kissed at a table overlooking the Pacific at Nobu in Malibu, California.
An onlooker said: “They looked really happy together, kissing and looking into each other’s eyes.
“It just seemed like a happy couple having a romantic dinner. That’s made the news about Cathriona even more shocking.”
Cathriona also tweeted the following day about her “wonderful belated birthday dinner”.
Yesterday it emerged three of the pill bottles found near her body at her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Sherman Oaks were prescribed to an alias of Carrey, 53.
The sleeping pill Ambien, painkiller Percocet and blood pressure medication Propranolol were in a fictitious name believed to have been used by the actor.
Meanwhile, one of Cathriona’s closest pals told how her suicide came two days after the third anniversary of her dad Pat’s death from brain cancer.
Professional magician Joseph Réohm, 35, said: “She was very close to her dad, and each year she was really sad on his anniversary.
“So I think the recipe of her dad and Jim Carrey got her to such a low point she just decided that’s it.
“I talked to her on her birthday and she sounded great. She was cheerful and as normal as can be.”
