The House of Oduduwa is indeed in top gear to promote the Yoruba culture to the ends of the world, as it is collaborating with Bonah Incorporated and In-House Entertainment to bring to life the story of the Martyr and Warrior Queen of Ile-Ife Kingdom through a first of its kind beauty pageant.

His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, who just received the key to the city of Newark, USA for his positive influence on the youths in Africa, and for his giant strides in such a short period, has announced the quest to unveil Queen Moremi Ajasoro in line with the kingdom's agenda to showcase Ile-Ife as a tourism zone to the world.

Speaking at a briefing after His Imperial Majesty commissioned the project team shortly before he left for the USA, Dr. Olakunle Balogun; CEO, Bonah Incoporated; the Project Director said, "this is a rare privilege and an opportunity to serve kingdom and country. Its a project that would set certain standards within and outside Nigeria. This event is totally going to promote culture, beauty and the essence of womanhood. We'll be unveiling and reliving Queen Moremi Ajasoro; the Queen who led Ile-Ife to victory in a battle hundreds of years ago.

So our eventual Queen must be bold, beautiful and emerge an integral cultural ambassador from Ife kingdom to the world as she would be showcased across the world. The contest would involve 8 States, which is unprecedented. The States are Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, and Kogi. The six southwest States of Oduduwa, Kwara because Moremi was from Offa and Kogi because her mother hailed from there" he said.

The project team consists of competent hands from both organizations. On the team is Dr. Olakunle Balogun, Alhaji Abubakre Akeem, Others are Babatunde Oyinlola and Ajilore Yewande, and the producers of Ile-Ife Fiesta; Dayo Taiwo, Dayo Oyegbola and Ayo George. Speaking on behalf of the team, Ayo George; the Assistant Project Director told journalists that it was a privilege to be involved in such a mega project. He said "projects like these enhance and promote culture. Kabiesi who has undoubtedly become the global ambassador of culture and tourism, has once again demonstrated his resolve to keep promoting the Yoruba culture across the world.

We are about to shake the southwest as Ile-Ife would be hosting the world come October. And whatever project In-House Entertainment is involved in is always a hit back to back and this won't be an exception". He concluded.
