Euro 2016 seems like one of the most open international tournaments in years, and there’s a host of seasoned stars to watch out for this summer. However, major tournaments often provide the chance for some younger stars to shine and announce themselves on the world stage. Let’s take a look at the young starlets who are tipped for big things in France.
Kingsley Coman
 The
19-year-old wide man already has plenty of experience at big clubs,
having been at PSG and Juventus before really taking his game to the
next level at Bayern Munich this year. He could be a key component in
the French attack with his pace and dribbling ability.

The 20-year-old’s rise to prominence from
the lower leagues in England to leading Tottenham’s failed title charge
has been astounding, and he looks suited to the demands of
international football as well, impressing every time he has put on the
Three Lions shirt. Alli may be the creative spark England have missed at
 major tournaments in the past.
Alvaro Morata

At 23, Morata is one of the more seasoned
players on this list. However, this is his first real opportunity to
prove his worth with Spain. La Roja struggled in the 2014 World Cup
without a recognised frontman, and they need a quality finisher to
complement their possession based game. Morata’s all round game is
excellent, and he may be the man to lead them to international glory
again.
Leroy Sane

The Schalke youngster is one of the
hottest young talents in German football right now. He has the ability
to produce moments of magic in the final third of the field, and expect
him to run at defenders if given space.
Anthony Martial

The 20-year-old’s displays for Manchester
United have been one of the few positives in a poor season for the Red
Devils. Despite his tender years, he has shown great maturity in his
performances to date for club and country, and may well lead the line
for France with his pace, power and clinical finishing.
Julian Weigl

The Dortmund maestro has been one of the
stand-out midfielders in Europe this season. He has consistently
delivered measured and controlled performances in Dortmund’s engine
room, and looks like the kind of player that would be suited to the
chess match nature of international football. Expect big things from
this rangy midfielder if given the opportunity.
Harry Kane

The Spurs frontman will hope to round off
a brilliant club season by finding the net at the Euros. His first
touch and link-up play are exquisite, and if given the slightest sniff
of goal, he won’t hesitate in punishing the opposition.
Renato Sanches

The final member of the list is also the
youngest player at 18, but Sanches has proven he is more than ready to
cut it at the highest level. The midfielder’s energy levels and
excellent vision have recently earned him a move to Bayern Munich,
making him one of the most expensive teenagers on the planet. Expect big
things from Sanches as he looks to take Portugal to the next level this
 summer.
