The former parliamentary assistant said the man became annoyed with her, calling her a “typical f******

Londoner” when she put her headphones in and closed her eyes in an attempt to ignore his antics on a train travelling from Euston.

According to the ex-London School of Economics student, the unnamed man started shoving his meal into her mouth and pulling her scarf as the train made its way to Northampton.

A fight broke out after a number of men in the carriage rushed to her defence and attempted to drag the man away from her and another woman trying to help.

The 22-year-old has told how the man produced a snooker ball from his pocket, before placing it in a sock and swinging it around, terrifying children and families in the process.
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Adams said the man started bothering her shortly after he sat next to her on the 6pm train.
She said: “I decided to put my headphones in as he was getting a bit annoying and that started him off.

“He was getting annoyed that I didn’t want to interact and was saying ‘typical f****** Londoner’, so I decided to pretend to go to sleep.”

But a few moments later, the unnamed man started piling food into her mouth, pulling on her scarf simultaneously.

The 22-year-old continued: “That was when a girl on the other side tried to help me and he was going crazy and screaming at her and then lunged at her, which was when other men stood up and pulled him off her.
“I then climbed out – he had pinned me against the window – and ran to another carriage.”
Adrian Horner, one of many who attempted to calm the furious brawl, believes the fighters may have been watching the football match between Chelsea and Leicester on Saturday afternoon.

The 50-year-old told the Evening Standard: “There was a lot of shouting and swearing going on in front of kids and young families.
“Everybody had bailed from the carriage and moved away from it all.
“People were genuinely scared and huddled together in the next carriage.
“I was slightly concerned for my own safety.”
Shaken passengers disembarked the train when it stopped at Tring station, where British Transport Police officers attended the scene.
Officials are now appealing for anyone with information on the incident to come forward.

British Transport Police rushed to Tring station to meet the unruly passenger and remove him from the train
Speaking on the assault, a spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “I can confirm that a passenger posted on Twitter about an assault and disorder on the 17.54 train from Euston to Northampton on Saturday.
“We attended and spoke to the man involved.
“We would like to speak to anyone who was a victim of an offence in relation to this incident or who has any information about what took place.”
