CHRISTINE Lampard is constantly asked why she doesn’t have any children with footballer husband Frank.
The TV presenter was a guest panellist on Tuesday’s Loose Women, and as the foursome discussed their age and appearance, Christine admitted people have a go to question when they realise how old she is.
She said: “Oddly enough at 37, if you don’t have babies, it’s all I get asked.
“Firstly it’s: “Oh you’re 37! No babies yet?” That’s a really big question. It doesn’t bother me really but it’s something I would never ask another girl.
“Purely because I have so many friends who have been through terrible struggles to have little babies and you just don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors and what’s going on in other people’s lives.
“It’s a question I would never ask anyone but I get asked it loads.”
While Christine doesn’t have any children of her own, she is stepmother to Frank’s two daughters from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas.
The couple – who married in a romantic ceremony just days before Christmas last year – took their time in introducing Christina into the family after they first got together in 2009.
Christine previously said: “I’d like to think, if you asked the girls in ten years’ time, they would say that it was a well-thought-out process – I didn’t meet them for a year, on purpose.”
