Police say that Ramachandra Chavan had beheaded his 55-year-old wife Sonabai with an axe on Friday morning.

The 60-year-old, from Pune in India, had become convinced that she was having an affair with a relative.
And after chopping off her head he then walked down the road holding the axe in one hand and her head in the other.
Police arrested Chavan, who they say is 'mentally unstable'.
