According to her, the peculiar diet she began after World War I helped her become one of the oldest people ever. When she was a teenager, a doctor suggested that she eat raw eggs to combat her anemia. All she would say is that she is from London and her name, Chika. He supposedly later had garri (soaked) before complaining of severe stomach pains followed by vomiting of blood. An autopsy of the baby showed that the 10-week-old had suffered a broken collarbone and had 34 rib fractures in various stages of healing.
