I’M A Celebrity’s Martin Roberts has courted controversy once again after viewers last night accused him of sending secret signals home.
The Homes Under the Hammer presenter, who’s proved to be a surprising Marmite character in this year’s series, has been making some odd hand gestures during the Bushtucker results.
Fans of the show particularly noticed this last night when Dec came into the camp to announce that 'Claim of Thrones' would be ending and that the four remaining 'royals' after the trial that day would be granted immunity.
The 53-year-old grinned as he sat on a log and twirled his hand and tapped his finger against the air before biting it.
Unsurprisingly, many viewers found this odd and thought that the gestures may have been secret messages to home.
One fan tweeted: "Is Martin trying to communicate with those annoying hand gestures? Notice he does it each time And and Dec go in #ImACeleb".
A second agreed: "Martin, you dodgy sod! He's totally doing secret s*** hand messages just then!"
Another commented: "Is Martin doing secret messages to home. Every time it's live he does this sign language thing with his hand."
While one viewer was just confused: "What is with the hand/finger twiddling from Martin when they go live in the 'morning'."
Martin was not happy on last night's episode after he lost his place following his head to head with Ola Jordan in the Bush Brewer trial.
He had to head back to join the other ‘subjects’ and back to a ration of beans – which of course he didn’t like, and made sure everyone knew about it.
As soon as he got back, he was thrown straight into work when Carol Vorderman announced that they now had to assign two subjects to take on today’s royal duties.
“It’s not going to be me, I’m not going to do it, why would I do that, it’s like rubbing salt into the wound” Martin said.
Challenging him Scarlett Moffatt said: “Think of it this way, you’ve already had the royal treatment and luxury for one night, we should pull sticks if no-one wants to do it.”
Dec revealed that it would be Adam Thomas and Wayne Bridge fighting for their immunity against two of the 'subjects' from the main camp. They would be up against Lisa Snowdon and Scarlett Moffatt in Bushtucker Trial 'Gates of Hell'.
This meant that Ola Jordan and Sam Quek would be immune from the first eviction.
