GOOD Morning Britain viewers were up in arms today over Piers Morgan’s ‘rude’ behaviour towards fitness guru Joe Wicks.
Joe appeared on the ITV breakfast show to talk about his new book but viewers were left seething when Piers ‘barely let him speak’ and then quizzed him about his love life.

Piers Morgan gives Joe Wicks a hard time on Good Morning Britain
It all kicked off when host Susanna Reid asked Joe to 'sell' broccoli to the young viewers watching at home who won't eat their green veg.
He said: "If you look at them, they're actually midget and trees and they're full of nutrients. If you eat them you're going to be lean and strong and good and healthy. And you'll have a good time at high school when you start meeting all the girls."
But Piers then cut across to say it was "a load of baloney". He added: "Don't touch broccoli, it tastes disgusting. Wait until you're older and get stuck into chicken nuggets and chips."
"Why would you want kids to eat broccoli seriously? It's disgusting!"
Joe recently told The Sun "he just wants to help people be fit and healthy" ahead of the launch of his third book.

Joe Wicks did not look impressed during the interview
Joe then tried to laugh off the awkward interaction but it didn't stop there when Piers decided to ask him a "serious question" about his love life.
Piers said: "You're making £1million a month, you're a good looking guy, you work out. How many women are beating a path to your door on an hourly basis?"
Susanna told Piers he was "jealous" of the fitness and diet star and Joe shifted awkwardly in his seat before answering: "There's none, none at all."

Joe became awkward when Piers quizzed him about his love life
But Piers wouldn't drop it and said: "You haven't got any women in your life?"
Joe answered: "We're not here to talk about girls, we're here to talk about Lean In 15."
But Piers continued: "I'm fascinated, if you can't get a girl then what hope is there for the male species!"
The Epsom native answered: "I don't like talking about girls. That stuff is private."
After much berating from Piers, Joe conceded: "I'm not available, I have a girlfriend. She's very beautiful."
Joe is currently dating glamour model Rosie Jones.

Piers also told kids at home to eat chips after Joe encouraged them to eat broccoli
But Piers didn't stop there and cut across him to say: "You can't say that in a modern society, you have to say she's a very smart woman with a great career. You can't say that."
The GMB host then decided to tuck into his peanut butter sandwiches live on air and told Joe to "go home and eat his broccoli".
Viewers at home took to Twitter in their droves to complain about Piers's treatment of Joe, who boasts more than 1.5million followers on Instagram.

Piers later refused to apologies for his treatment of Joe
Many said the interview was "cringe" and that Piers had "ruined" the interview with Joe.
Many were hoping to hear some of the tips from his new book, which you can see HERE.
Others said it looked like Joe wanted to "punch" Piers and many claimed it was "unfair" to push him to reveal details about his personal life.
One wrote: "How is Joe Wicks keeping calm with the imbecile that is Piers Morgan? Morgan is behaving like a 7 year old on Haribos this morning #GMB."
Another said: "Ugh @piersmorgan stop! Joe Wicks is entitled to his privacy. So unprofessional to hassle him like that, he was clearly uncomfortable. #GMB."

"The Joe Wicks fans are going nuts... are we going to get out of here alive?"

Susanna Reid would rather 'staple eyelids to alligator' than have dinner with Piers Morgan
Susanna commented: "You're feeling quite shaken aren't you?" to which Piers replied: "I've not had a reaction like this since I took the mickey out of Justin Bieber".
