A MAN has died after being shot in his Audi – with police now treating the attack as murder.

The 26-year-old man had been in his car on the south side of Glasgow just before midnight on Tuesday when he was shot.

He was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At 11.55pm on Tuesday, a 26-year-old man was shot while sitting in his Audi vehicle at a junction in Scotland Street, Glasgow.

“He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he died a short time later.

“Police are treating the death as murder.”
