PRESENTER Sian Williams was left “sore, swollen and bruised” after she was attacked by a friend’s neighbour’s dog.
The Welsh anchorwoman shared a picture of her bloodied leg as she sought advice over the attack which she said “lasted ages.”
She told her Twitter followers: “Grrr. Prescribed antibiotics after a dog had a go at my knee.
“No lead, wouldn’t stop, lasted ages, v sore. Advice?”
Sian later updated her concerned fans, thanking them for their comments and suggestions.
said: “Even if you didn’t get details, it’s worth reporting to police in case of linked incidents. Next time could be a child.”
While another queried: “Are you up to date with your tetanus plus get it checked looks sore.”
The mum-of-four wrote: “All cleaned up. Yes had tetanus. Will follow course and get friend to talk to her neighbour (the dog owner!)”
Sian, 51, added: "doesn't look much but it's surprisingly sore, swollen and bruised," while promising Channel 5 News viewers they could expect reports on
"bank charges, Olympics latest, hunting for a Yorkshire tea taster and...dangerous dogs. Really. Will not show the knee."
