SIMON Cowell’s pal Sinitta has found herself as the centre of a fix row after a boyband she manages made it through to the Judges’ Houses on the new series.
The 80s singer is looking after brothers Josh and Kyle Brooks, known as The Brooks.
However, Sinitta has been accused of getting her close pal Simon to make sure her clients get through to the next stage of the competition.
The brothers previously auditioned for the reality show back in 2014 but were kicked out in the early stages.
An insider told The Mirror: “Sinitta recently became involved behind the scenes of a band who have by ‘pure coincidence’ just got through to judges houses stage of the X Factor this year.
“The Brooks recently became involved with Sinitta who has been advising them that they will get through the competition with her behind them.”
Sinitta and Simon dated back in the 80s but have remained close pals ever since, with her acting as his X Factor ‘sidekick’ most years.
She also regularly holidays with him, his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric.
However, now insiders are claiming that Sinitta used her close friendship with the Syco boss to land her act a coveted spot at the Judges Houses.
A source said that the boys may have an unfair advantage because of Sinitta’s connections.
They added: “It is well known that Sinitta is the best friend of Simon Cowell so this will not go down well with other acts waiting to go to judges houses in the coming weeks.”
The X Factor is set to return to our screens later this month.
