TWITTER has erupted with conspiracy theories following Christopher Biggins’ sudden removal from the Big Brother house – including shock claims he made a Nazi joke.
In a series of tweets, a number of surprised viewers have claimed his removal came after he made a joke about concentration camps in front of Jewish housemate Katie Waissel.
There is no suggestion at this stage that Biggins’ made any comments of that nature. Channel 5 declined to make any further comment when contacted by The Sun Online.
Biggins’ agent Jonathan Shalit OBE told The Sun Online: “I have been close friends and worked with Biggins for many years and can confirm that he would never intentionally cause offence.
“If something was said in jest which caused offence then I am certain that was not his intention. Biggins is a much loved and wonderful man.”
Discussing why Biggins , who had previously won I’m A Celebrity, had been kicked out, one Twitter user wrote: “Christopher Biggins kicked out of #CBBUK for Concentration Camp joke? Wow. ???? I did NAZI that coming! ???????????? #CBB @bbspy”
Another wrote: “Apparently Biggins made a Nazi/Concentration Camp joke to/about/in front of Katie Waissel who’s Jewish… #cbb #Biggins #cbbbiggins.”
And someone else tweeted: “Christopher Biggins in Nazi Row !!! Wasn’t something I thought I would ever say ! ???????? #CBB2016.”
Earlier this evening news broke that Biggins had lost his place in the house.
A spokesperson said: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
“Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public.

“Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. “Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
The panto legend had caused offence earlier in the week after he appeared to dismiss bisexual people.
Mob wife Renee was discussing sexuality with flamboyant Frankie Grande when Biggins over heard their conversation.
He asked her: “Do you have a problem with gay people?” to which she abruptly said she didn’t.
She said: “When you’re gay you’re gay. And I think it’s beautiful because I think it’s who you are and it’s natural.
“But I think today in society they kind of force things on people and they confuse you.”
Biggins then agreed to what she was saying and added that he felt that some people claiming to be LGBT were doing so as it was “trendy”.
Renee then added: “If you’re gay, you know it!”
Adding fuel to an already controversial fire, Biggins, who is a member of the LGBT community himself, said: “I think the worst type though is, I’m afraid to say, the bisexuals.
“What it is is people not wanting to admit they are gay.”
Renee agreed and added: “That upsets me. You have to pick a team.”
